Media personality Robin Kisti has blasted rapper GNL Zamba for adding her to the list of drug addicts who lost direction.
GNL Zamba was on his podcast recently, addressing the rampant drug use among Ugandan musicians. Using examples of Qute Kaye, Robin Kisti, and Rocky Giant, the rapper advised young artists to stay away from drugs lest they end up like them.
Robin Kisti admitted to not having watched the podcast but was sent a clip by her close friend. She believes GNL mentioned her name based on the recent events that saw her arrested and thrown in Luzira.
Initial allegations suggested that she had been arrested for drug possession, but were later refuted by police, who confirmed that she was in jail after assaulting her Neighbour.
“They only saw videos of me being taken by the police. Obviously when you wake up in the morning, you look a certain way. The police found me in my night wear, disorganized hair and they concluded that I had been arrested for drugs,” she said.

Out of frustration, Robin Kisti accused Zamba of using her name to get attention on his podcast. She further cautioned him against putting her in situations she was not a part of. She noted that he spoke from a place of ignorance without doing research.

“I don’t understand why he used my name as an example because if he wants clickbait and people to follow his podcast, he should never have put my name in it. As a person who has been abroad, he should know that journalism needs research. How can he go online and put my name in the same category with Qute Kaye and Rocky Giant just because he heard that I smoke some weed?” She questioned.
