Manager Joel appeals for Ronald Alimpa’s rehabilitation as singer’s condition worsens

Talent manager Joel Promotions has issued a plea for help for his artist, Ronald Alimpa, who he says requires rehabilitation.

In March last year, Ronald Alimpa called for a conference with journalists where he unveiled Joel as his new manager. However, in an interview later this week, he openly denied ever knowing his existence or working with him.

Manager Joel, on the same station, clarified that he picked up Alimpa at the point in his life when the industry had rejected him. Amidst all the challenges he was going through, he took him under his wing and helped him out with his career.

Joel claims that Alimpa ran away from him, only to be seen on social media associating with bad company. He revealed that when he appeared on national television, he was intoxicated and needed urgent help before he ended his life.

Joel appealed to the UNMF president, Eddy Kenzo, to help him have Alimpa committed to a rehabilitation centre, as he believes he can be revived.

Alimpa Ronald

He was suffering, and I was there for him. We did what we could and worked together just like you all saw, but he ran away from me. He is somewhere staying with a man called Ganja. When he appeared in the interview, he was not well. He was in a terrible state, and he needed rehabilitation.

I will work together with anyone willing to help us rehabilitate him. A person with hit songs cannot be in that state. He is not okay, and I request that Ganja bring him out for help, as he asked.

Several years ago, Ronald Alimpa released his hit song “Seen Don,” a song that catapulted his career to the pinnacle of the Ugandan music industry.

However, his shine was short-lived, as he veered off the musical course due to challenges beyond his control.

The car accident that injured Alimpa and claimed his peers’ lives dealt the singer a heavy blow, and ever since, his life has never been the same.

This significantly influenced Alimpa to resort to using intoxicating substances, as captured in several video clips circulated on different social media platforms.
