Band singer Ronald Mayinja has come in defense of fellow artist Jose Chameleone against the constant attacks that are being directed at him lately in the media.
The Leone Island boss recently faced the wrath of King Saha who publicly called him out, accusing him of being a mean-spirited person who did not wish him well even after mentoring him.
This was followed by a series of criticisms which Ronald Mayinja has rubbished claiming they were coming from the haters who were simply looking for relevancy from the media and attention.
All those that attack Jose Chameleone just want attention and media coverage. What else do you know about them apart from attacking Chameleone? He should just let them be, Ronald Mayinja affirmed.
The veteran love ballads musician further encouraged Chameleone to stand firm and not be moved by what naysayers have to say about him claiming he is currently one of the top talents holding the Uganda flag. He claimed those bashing him on a daily basis are just wannabes who admire and wish to be like him.

For Jose, I just want to tell you to keep being strong. As Ugandans we are wiseacres but if they tell us to replace one Jose Chameleone, it could even take us more than twenty years without finding that one artist.
When someone is outside your circle, they always admire you and when you bring them close and they get to know you, they start disrespecting you, forcing you and you have no choice but to push them out to where they were,” he revealed.
