Today 19th February 2022, the SC Villa bus was involved in a nasty accident on its way to Gulu ahead of the team’s encounter with the Super Eagles.
Players and officials were injured and rushed to St Francis clinic Migera to receive the necessary medical attention.

The match was scheduled for tomorrow at Pece Stadium in Gulu but was called off due to an unforeseen tragedy.
The team utilized the available means of transport to head back to Kampala, for a detailed medical check-up.
Villa announced the sad news via their official social media platforms, where they thanked God for another chance to be alive.
Today our team on the way to Arua for a uganda cup match against …. got an accident, we are still waiting for the police report to ascertain what happened and we shall communicate accordingly.
We thank God that the entire team and coaching staff are all in stable condition after receiving first aid at St Francis clinic, Migeera . Further assessment and management will be done in Kampala.
