Shakib claps back at critics over viral Jacuzzi video with Zari

Socialite Shakib Lutaaya has defended the public display of affection with his wife, which has sparked social media discussion.

Zari and Shakib have been together for a long time and still do not care about showing a little PDA. On many occasions, they have gone a little overboard. They have shared videos of themselves kissing and being affectionate with each other.

Recently, a video went viral on social media showing Zari and Shakib getting into a jacuzzi. In the comment section, several fans heavily criticized the couple for defying cultural and societal norms that condemn such acts. They advised them to try to keep their intimacy off social media.

Shakib, in his defense, reasoned that as a married couple, they were free to do whatever they wished. He explained that their actions were aimed at showing the people how beautiful love is and encouraging others to embrace it.

“It is disgusting if you are not married. We are officially wedded. Our Prophet Mohammed usually kissed his wife Aisha in public. You have to show people that love is a beautiful thing. Every time you keep hiding your love for your partner, you paint a picture that you are doing something illegal,” he said.

Zari and Shakib have, on several occasions, publicly humiliated each other on social media. Often, when they have their couple fights, they end up in the press, each swearing that they have ended the marriage. This, however, doesn’t last for long as they are usually back in each other’s arms in the shortest time possible.

Shakib explained that just like any couple, they have their issues, but are quick to resolve them, denying that alcohol was behind their constant disagreements.
