Former Team No Sleep singer Sheebah Samali Karungi alias Sheebah is on cloud 9 upon becoming the first female Uganda musician to reach one hundred million total views on YouTube.
In 2010, Sheebah embarked on a solo career after parting ways with the now-defunct Obsessions Music Group.
Her career was wholly opened up after the 2014 release of her blockburster “Ice Cream,” and she hasn’t looked back since.
Sheebah’s departure from her previous management Team No Sleep sparked rumors that it would be the end of her career, yet she exceeded all expectations and is still going strong.
Sheebaholics, her steadfast fan base, has supported her through thick and thin over the years despite all the obstacles she has encountered in the music business.
Sheebah recently crossed the 100 million overall views mark on YouTube, adding yet another milestone to her list of accomplishments.
The development places Sheebah somewhere at the pinnacle of the Ugandan music industry, owing she is the first female musician to bag the milestone.
Taking to her socials, Sheebah attributed her success to the continuous love and support from her fans before thanking them for believing in her.
I want to take a moment to thank my fans for the continuous love and support! Because of you I am the first female musician to hit 100 MILLION total views on @youtube Thank you for believing in me … We are in it to make history
