The long-standing rivalry between musicians Cindy Sanyu and Sheebah Karungi has taken a new turn after the self-styled Karma Queen addressed the reasons behind her dislike for Cindy, citing arrogance and unprofessionalism.
Their public feud has been ongoing, with both artists taking jabs at each other in the media. The tension escalated in a highly publicized music battle, which many thought would lead to a reconciliation. However, Cindy’s recent comments expressing hatred towards Sheebah reignited the flames.
In an interview, Sheebah Karungi expressed frustration with Cindy’s comments insinuating that they were unnecessary because her public display of hatred encouraged beef mainly amongst the many fans who look up to them. She emphasized the importance of gratitude towards each other, especially considering their successful collaboration in the music battle.
I don’t like how arrogant she is, how unprofessional she is because that is not what you say about someone who has just made you money. There is some gratitude you leave for them because we have so many people we do not like but you can’t advertise someone you don’t like.
This is inhumane; you are teaching people hate for nothing. You have a thousand people following you so you should be an example and spread love. How can you say you do not like someone that made you millions just months ago,” Sheebah Karungi said.
Sheebah also accused Cindy of being cocky but stated that her statements came from a place of genuine concern, backed by experiences shared by others who have worked with Cindy. While acknowledging her talent, Sheebah Karungi cautioned against using it to belittle others.

What I do not appreciate about her is how cocky and arrogant she gets; not just with me but with everyone she has worked with. I’m not saying this to put her down but people know this. She should grow up. She is talented and she doesn’t need to prove that to anyone. And she doesn’t have to put anybody down to stay up, Sheebah said.
