Former Team No Sleep singer Sheebah Karungi has recently hinted at the possibility of retiring from the music industry. In an interview with NRG Radio, she opened up about her future plans and aspirations for her music career.
Having dedicated herself to the music industry since the tender age of 14, Sheebah has undoubtedly made a significant impact on the Ugandan music scene. However, despite her success, she believes that there is still more to achieve and dreams yet to be fulfilled.
In her interview, Sheebah expressed her intention to gradually slow down her workload as she approaches the age of 40. She aims to reduce her current commitments by 50%, allowing herself more time for personal endeavours and other interests outside of music.
Looking further ahead, Sheebah plans to further decrease her workload to just 20% by the time she turns 45.
This decision is driven by her desire to establish multiple revenue streams that will support her financially without solely relying on stage performances. She understands the importance of diversifying her income and building a sustainable future for herself.
Sheebah Karungi emphasized that she is actively working towards this goal, facing the challenges that come with being an entrepreneur. She acknowledges that the journey may not always be smooth, but she remains determined to build her career even during tough times.
