For months now, fuel prices in Uganda have been skyrocketing making it hard for motorcyclists and car owners in the country.

The situation didn’t spare expectant dancehall singer Cindy Sanyu, who got out of Kamooli to share her grievance with her fans and followers.
The self-proclaimed Kingherself took to her social media, sharing a photo of Total Petrol station‘s hiked fuel prices to 6,630UGX for Petrol, and 4,290UGX Diesel questioning what was happening.
Cindy replying to Karole Kasita‘s comment a fellow singer said she’s thinking of buying a bicycle to cub the increasing fuel prices
@karolekasita Mwana I’m here thinking of buying a bicycle.
According to sources, the skyrocketing fuel prices are attributed to the heavy traffic jam of trailers and protests by cargo drivers over Uganda’s decision to impose a $30 charge for the Covid-19 test.
