Spice Diana opens up about painful allegations, faced throughout her decade-long career

This weekend, Spice Diana will be celebrating a decade in the music industry, and throughout her career, she has faced a number of false accusations and challenges but one incident particularly stands out as the most painful she has ever had to deal with.

During her media rounds ahead of her concert, the Source management diva opened up on the worst moment of her life, recalling the heartbreaking experience of being accused of murder.

Despite being accused of malicious acts like practicing witchcraft and prostitution, Spice Diana noted that the murder allegations were the most hurting and damaging.

Spice Diana recalled that the rumor started spreading while she was out for a performance in Pallisa District. A friend of hers sent her a cutting from one media outlet, but she swept the story under the rug.

However, the rumor rapidly spread and upon her return after a couple of days, the story had spread everywhere.

She confessed that the allegations broke her to the core but she somehow managed to put herself together and overcome them. Spice Diana revealed that she kept reminding herself that she was not the first musician to be accused of such malicious rumors.

The saga in question happened in June 2022 in which a young man identified by police as Nsamba Hamza, 27, was killed near Spice Diana’s home located in Kyamuza Zone, Makindye Municipality on Salaama Road.

Rumors had circulated that the young man had allegedly been beaten by Spice Diana’s bouncers and left outside her gate to die.

‘Throughout my career, people have labeled me as a prostitute and practicing witchcraft. They hurt me so much but I got used to the fact that they said these to every successful young female artist. So, it was the order of the day but not this type of accusation.

It broke me to the core but I got myself together and talked myself down that it happens to so many other people,’ she said.
