Stecia Mayanja expresses regret over her past relationship with Ssekyewa, highlighting her youthful naivety and decisions.
Stecia Mayanja in response to her ex, musician Ssekyewa Charles has made it clear that she has no plans of rekindling their past relationship.
The ex-couple was once in the same band where they became lovers, but their romance ended with each going their separate ways.
Stecia Mayanja confessed that she regrets once falling in love with Ssekyewa, explaining that it was out of naivety and being young at the time they dated. She expressed dismay at her choices in the past, stating that thinking about their relationship brings more confusion.
Stecia Mayanja and Ssekyewa performed on the same stage at the recently concluded Tugende Mukikaddee show. She alleged that Ssekyewa was overwhelmed to see her return to the country because now he would capitalize on her popularity to boost his own bookings at concerts.
Addressing Charles Ssekyewa’s claims of moving on and having a woman at home, Stecia Mayanja sarcastically challenged him to show her off in public and refrain from talking about her in all his interviews.
She further crushed any hopes of their reunion, declaring that there was no way she could ever go back to her ex. She noted that the mere thought of it fills her with anger and frustration, leaving her questioning what prompted her to make that choice in the first place.
“I pity him just by looking at him so I find it funny if someone thinks that I will ever be in love with him again. He is just my friend and I feel sad for him. I do not know what I was up to to fall in love with him before. Maybe it is because I was still young.
When I look back at those days, it really doesn’t make sense to me. I was young and new in the industry and he was a bit older. I do not even know what happened between us and I do not want to remember it.
He is overwhelmed with my coming back home because now he can get a chance to perform with my influence. He is now being booked again. He should not wait for me because I will never go back to him. It pisses me off because I was not drunk when I dated him,” she said.
