Renowned DJ Suuna Ben has publicly rained praises on legendary deejay, DJ Shiru for the selfless support he has rendered to his fellow deejays trying to make it out in the industry.
DJ Shiru not only set the trend of deejays collaborating with artists, but his pioneering effort in the industry has paved the way for young deejays to enter the competitive sector.
Man other deejays have on numerous occasions come out to acknowledge his help and give him his flowers for providing them a chance to step on big stages.
In a heartwarming display of gratitude, the ‘Ebinyanya’ star emphasized Shiru’s dedication to taking the bold step in ensuring that their profession gets respected and is highly valued as part of the music industry.
Earlier this year, Suuna Ben was booked to perform for his fans in Qatar, and during an interview, he revealed that he got the connections to this gig from DJ Shiru who had recommended him, something that cannot be done by someone who doesn’t wish you well.
We should thank DJ Shiru so much because he is a very powerful man. We may be receiving backlash as deejays right now, but no one has taken as much as DJ Shiru because by then, deejays were not treated as human beings; they were disrespected, Suuna Ben revealed.
He further explained how DJ Shiru has tirelessly done so much to lift their honor as deejays in so many ways, especially through the way he represents himself, contrary to people’s beliefs that deejays are usually shabby and disorganized people.
He dresses nice and takes care of himself and when someone looks at him, they can tell that a deejay can at one point be serious. He turned this job into a serious business that you can now go to a place and make money. He is the first deejay amongst us that went abroad to stage a show. He connected me to my concert outside Uganda (in Qatar). You can see he loves this job, he said.
