The Uganda film industry and actress Saidat Nantumbwe’s family mourn her untimely death.
Years back, Saidat Nantumbwe was diagnosed with Kidney failure which was transplanted successfully.
However, due to the aftereffects of COVID-19, Saidat was affected and required another transplant.
Because her family was not financially secure, they embarked on a UGX 10,000 fundraising cause to ensure Saidat receives the necessary medical intervention in February 2023.
However, the actress didn’t make it to D-day, as her health drastically deteriorated, and lost the battle.

Saidat featured in many Ugandan movie series, like The Legacy, Katubagiro, Loving Tyra, Kamara, Betrayed, Family Crisis, Deadly Mistakes, Perfect Imperfections, and many others
Her vigil will be held in Kasangati, and she will be laid to rest at a later date to be announced.
