Popular comedian and events MC Moses Kiboneka best known by his stage name Uncle Mo was treated to a surprise visit from one of his biggest fans from Canada who flew all to his garage in Kireka to have an experience where the comedian cooks his skits.
Uncle Mo through his post on his official X/Twitter account revealed that he came across a comment from this gentleman, telling him to attach subtitles to all his skits because he had a hard time grasping his Ugandan accent. Years later, he surprised him with a visit together with his wife from Canada.
“A Canadian, a couple of years ago, commented on my YouTube video and asked me to start putting subtitles because he thought my English accent sucks. Humbling how he flew to the country with his wife to experience where I shoot the skits.” Uncle Mo shared.
Uncle Mo has won the hearts of many online comedy lovers owing to his comical character.
Being a passionate, creative actor and copywriter, Uncle Mo uses satire and relatable comedy to address breaking news, political issues, different cultures, relationships, and every other interesting topic that may trend in the country, more so on social media.
Uncle Mo started shooting his skits in the comfort of his garage in Kireka, wearing his navy blue overalls, portraying a local ‘Makanika’ during the COVID-19 lockdown. Over the years, he has garnered a remarkable fan base, on a global scale.

While many people think he only uses the costume to act, Uncle Mo works as a mechanical engineer for his day job at Nyange Automobile Workshop in Kireka.
