First rising singer Alimpa Ronald is on the spot following indictments that he pirated an upcoming artist’s song dubbed ‘Kabaka Antumye‘.
‘Kabaka Antumye‘ is Alimpa’s latest release, which heaps praise on the Buganda Kingdom and its top-notch leader King Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II.
However, an upcoming artist identified as Baby J claims he recorded the same song in 2017 at Climax Records.
To his surprise, a close friend sent him a copy and paste version of Alimpa, which was a clone of his original composition.
When Alimpa was contacted in a phone interview, he stressed that he is so green about the allegations.

He maintained that his management provided him with the song, and he played his role by hitting the recording booth to do justice to it.
Alimpa, however, urged the complainant to reach out to him for a detailed report about the song in question.
This is not the first time Alimpa Ronald is engaging in music theft scandals, as he was indicted over the same issues upon releasing his two songs ‘Mazzi ga Bbowa’ and ‘Sean Don’.
