Singers Chris Evan Kaweesi and Serena Bata were earlier today teargassed by Uganda Police as they were promoting the former’s concert.
As Chris Evans’s concert D-day draws closer, the pressure surrounding the event has seen the singer storm downtown to create more awareness about his impending concert.
In the company of Serena Bata, the pair set out to give back to their fans by providing a few free tickets to the concert scheduled for October 29th, 2022 at Freedom City.
However, the proceedings were cut short by Uganda Police, who fired teargas at the singers and their fans on grounds that they never sought permission before carrying out their activities.

Based on the video cited by this website, Serena Bata is visibly distressed by the teargas and can be seen being evacuated by good samaritans.
