A few days back, singer Sheebah jetted into Dubai ahead of a streak of gigs across the city.
She delivered dynamic performances throughout the shows, which drew the largest crowds in UAE event history.
Before she could brag about her sold-out gigs, rumours started making rounds suggesting that she was arrested and detained by Dubai police sending her fans into panic mode.
The buzz was sparked by a viral video clip that portrayed the singer being whisked away by unidentified men clad in white after one of her performances over the weekend.
However, the rumour that was spreading like a wildfire was extinguished by Sheebah’s manager Dirisa, who confirmed that the swirling speculations are false and unsubstantiated.
Dirisa offered the clarification during a video chat with Youtuber Vybz Ug, stating that the people who whisked Sheebah away were her fans who had come with her from her hotel and waited for her to accompany her back to escape the ruckus that was generated by her fans who were requesting for selfies.

The muted screen recording depicted manager Dirisa and promoter Kim waiting for Sheebah ahead of the boat voyage on Monday before she could travel back into the country today.
