In a heartwarming display of spousal support, Pastor Moses Tinsley has publicly endorsed his wife and musician Vivian Tendo’s decision to run for political office in the upcoming 2026 general elections.
Earlier last week, the 26-year-old singer used her social media platform and announced her intentions to stand for a political post as the Mityana Woman Member Of Parliament and her husband was quick to show his support.
Speaking to his followers on his Facebook page, Moses Tinsley expressed his excitement and support for his wife’s political aspiration, urging voters to be ready for a young and intelligent candidate.
In the next parliament, we are going to send beautiful, young yet so intelligent women. If you are hurt, please go on and vote for Mao. Mityana we are coming, God willing, read his post translated from Luganda.
Having lived a drama-free career ever since her breakthrough, Vivian Tendo’s political aspirations came as a surprise to many considering her soft-spoken nature. The announcement post was met with mixed reactions from her fans, with some encouraging her to take on the challenge, citing her integrity and personality as some of the key assessments for her political career.
Others, however, strongly advised her against it, saying that it would tarnish her reputation, suggesting she maintains her focus on music.
Vivian Tendo is not the first musician to express the desire to participate in politics in the next elections, following the footsteps of others who have made their intentions known regarding that.
