Rising musician Vyroota real name Musigazi Abdul Aziz has clapped back at critics attacking him for performing at a recently booked NRM gig.
A few days back, Vyroota faced huge backlash for campaigning for NRM candidate Taban Abaho during the MUBS guild presidential elections.
Vyroota was captured in numerous clips donning the NRM attire and singing at Taban’s rally. With this current political situation, his fans and followers were quick to castigate him for his choice of candidacy and threatened to boycott his music and concerts.
During a TikTok live broadcast, Vyroota openly dismissed the threats, making it clear that he would not bow down to pressure. He revealed that he was doing what he was paid to do and caring less about people’s opinions.

“I cannot be scared of doing things I want to do because of people’s opinions. I want people to change that mentality and do what they want, not because of what someone else will think.
Despite a section of social media users threatening to cancel him and his music, Vyroota boasted about his career that he says is still booming, earning him more gigs in and outside the country.

“I’m going to perform in Dubai, and I want to say that I’m still doing music; I’m soon celebrating three years in the industry,” Vyroota revealed.
