Fenon Records’ singing girl group the Warafiki has bagged two nominations in the 2024 HiPipo Music Awards.
The Warafiki trio consists of exceptionally talented singers Tori (Victoria Nalugwa), Eyla (Damalie Nalugwa), and Treezy (Patricia Debra Nakalembe).
Since the group’s unveiling towards the end of last year, Warafiki has established a strong grip on the Ugandan music industry.
The group has established a strong growing fan base, and thrilled music enthusiasts with several hit songs like Bwekati, Tetubafanana, and No Money No Love.
The group’s diligence and success have not gone unrecognized in the Uganda music industry, with the latest being the HiPipo Music Awards where they achieved two nominations.
Warafiki has been nominated in the Video of the Year category, for their song Tetubafanana. The girls will be locking horns with the likes of Irene Namatovu, Navio, Sheebah Karungi, John Blaq, and Spice Diana.
In another category, Warafiki is nominated for the Breakthrough Artist of the Year, competing with Aaronx, Elijah Kitaka, Fik Gaza, Pretty Banks, Jamie Ategeka, Bridgette Mars, and Spyda Mc.

The Awards grand finale is to be held on 15th Friday, November 2024 at the Kampala Serena Hotel which will mark its thirteenth consecutive year in the game.
