One of the longstanding Kadongo Kamu artists Willy Mukaabya has openly condemned fellow musician Hassan Ndugga and expressed his disappointment towards his behavior during a recent event that they had gone to perform at.
According to Mukaabya, Ndugga was fully paid to perform at the show but blatantly refused to sing. He instead stepped on stage and announced his decision to cause chaos and start a fight among revelers.
Nduga, you don’t have manners and people keep complaining about you everywhere you go that you do not do what you are paid to do. I experienced this too. You do not have regard for other people, he said.
Willy Mukaabya described Ndugga’s behavior as unprofessional and disrespectful. He accused Ndugga of failing to acknowledge the presence of the elderly musicians of the genre who were in attendance and that his actions were a disgrace before them.
“This was so disrespectful to us the revelers because you think you are a star. But I believe you have not even reached where we are. You came to bring chaos thinking you were bigger than all the artists that were around. What you did was terrible and you never do it before fellow artists.
You are a Kadongo Kamu artist and I do not think you will invent your own genre. We are your fathers in music but you disrespected us,” Willy Mukaabya said.

Mukaabya used his TikTok account to share the message because he did not have the opportunity to address the issue with Ndugga in person.
I wanted you to know that you are a terrible person with a bad attitude. Even if you come out to attack me, that is the truth,” Willy Mukaabya noted.
