The topic of men giving women money after a date has sparked a lively online debate, initiated by media personality Evlyn MC.
Adding her voice to the discussion is Swangz Avenue singer Winnie Nwagi who supports the idea that men should indeed give women money after a date.
Nwagi believes that women put in a significant amount of effort to look good, using expensive makeup, hairstylists, outfits, and even spending money on fuel to get to the date.
However, Nwagi suggests that men should go beyond giving women just enough money for a Boda Boda ride and instead consider hiring them an Uber.
She argues that giving a woman only 50K Ugandan Shillings after a date is insufficient and emphasizes that it is too little.
Furthermore, Nwagi advises women to stop settling for just 50K Ugandan Shillings from men, even if the transportation cost alone is worth that amount as she encourages them to ask for more.

The “Mataala” singer emphasizes that men who are against giving women money after a date are simply trying to defend themselves because they are unwilling to invest in their partners.
