Musician Winnie Nwagi, born Winnie Nakanwagi, has called out her haters for always spreading the rumor that she has left Swangz Avenue.
For years, there have been allegations that Winnie Nwagi chose to leave the label in pursuit of a solo career. Some rumours suggested that she had been fired over indecency and her social lifestyle, while others claimed she had misunderstandings with top management.
Winnie Nwagi, during a live broadcast, expressed her disappointment and revealed she was tired of the constant rumour, which she termed as false. She advised critics, especially bloggers, to stop with the false allegations and instead inform the label management to fire her.
“I’m tired of people lying that I’m going to leave. Instead, they should tell them to fire me. Perhaps that is what they want, because if someone has a well-established label, they make an official statement. I do not know where they get all these rumours from. If you feel you want me to leave, find Julius and tell him this,” she said.

Winnie Nwagi described herself as an open book who doesn’t keep secrets. She said she is not the kind of person to hide information from her fans and would easily let them know if her working relationship with Swangz Avenue came to an end.

“I’m an open person and the day I will leave; we will sit and talk about it the same way we did at the beginning. I’m not even at loggerheads with Swangz Avenue; only band energy from people which should stop,” she said.
