A few days back, a video clip showing a security operative blocking Swangz Avenue singer Winnie Nwagi from accessing the Ministry of Internal affairs offices made rounds on social media.
The Ministry spokesperson Simon Peter Mundeyi in a phone interview with Sanyuka TV confirmed the claims and attributed the development to the singer’s indecent dressing.

He further wondered if the officials would have reacted in the same manner if a white had turned up dressed like Winnie Nwagi.
Nwagi’s father noted that his daughter’s fashion choice is emulated from the western cultures, where she purchases these outfits, and she has a right to put them into use in a way she finds pleasing.
He maintained that the second time his daughter is going to Internal affairs, he will avail her with an outfit that will please critics.
