South African-based socialite Zari Hassan has acquired a brand-new car and is torn between driving it for herself or giving it to his firstborn son, Pinto Ssemwanga.
According to the self-styled Boss Lady, the monster ride, Jaecoo J7, a freshly launched brand, was supposed to be her birthday gift which she hoped to collect from the dealership a month ago to celebrate her new age.
Unfortunately, she did not have the funds to clear the car balance which was supposed to be paid in cash, hence postponing it.
When I finally paid it off and brought it home, my son is now insisting that he wants it to take it which leaves me confused and wondering whether I should have it, give it to him or share it with him. Problem is, I drive all my cars with personalized number plates and he too, he wants it to have his name, Pinto 2, she said during a phone call with Tawfiq.
Zari Hassan says the Jaecoo car brand has been around in South Africa but that particular model, J7 was launched recently in the country around April this year.
When she acquired her own, it was brand new with only 29 km in mileage. She expressed the excitement that comes with driving a new car and said she would instead give Pinto her Range Rover.
Let me first drive it for a week and if I do not like it, I will give it to him. But I’m going to put my name on the plates, if he wants it, he should make his money and buy one himself. I already did my part by giving him his first car, Zari Hassan stated.
Zari Hassan is known to be living a lavish and luxurious lifestyle. She always takes pride in spending and splashing cash all the time through shopping sprees, expensive clothes, cars, houses, and trips among other things. This car alone is estimated at $30,788 according to some of South Africa’s car dealerships and despite living this expensive lifestyle, Zari has revealed that she never forgets to invest money in business ventures that will help her children in the future.
I invest in property especially in Real Estate because that is a common business in South Africa. Even if I have a school, we invest in Airbnb. A car is just a liability that can easily perish tomorrow but the investments will help them survive in future even after I’m gone,” Zari Hassan said during the phone conversation.
