Zari Hassan in a bitter dispute with late Ivan Ssemwanga’s family over property sharing | AUDIO

Renowned socialite Zari Hassan is embroiled in a bitter feud with her in-laws over her late husband Ivan Ssemwanga’s property.

In 2017, Ivan Semwanga lost the battle to a heart and breathed his last at Steve Biko Hospital in Pretoria.

Before his demise, Ivan Semwanga had established multiple ventures, including numerous educational institutions in South Africa.

Pinto Ntale, the late Ivan Semwanga, and Zari Hassan’s eldest son was named the official heir of the former’s property.

Zari Hassan has since been the property custodian, and grooming her sons to bare factors that enable them to run the businesses.

However, based on a leaked audio recording making rounds on social media, Zari fell out with some of her in-laws, claiming they were fighting her over the late Semwanga’s property.

Zari stressed that she and her kids hold shares in all the late’s properties, and she has over the years taken the responsibility of looking after her in-laws and distributed them with a portion of the property profits.

She emphasized that some of the inlaws like Kinene and late Semwanga’s youngest brother were getting USD 10K and 5K a month respectively from Brooklyn University in South Africa before revoking their benefits due to poor conduct.

Zari suggested that her inlaws would have supported her in managing the properties, but they are seeking worthless advice from Kinene and sending her vulgar messages.

She frankly noted that she was not ready to dance to their tunes, and advised them to get the benefits they are looking for from Semwanga’s final resting place in Kayunga.
