Socialite Zari Hassan has called out Diamond Platnumz terming him as an egoistic person following his recent comments on Netflix’s Young Famous And African.
Recently during one of the reality show’s episodes, Diamond Platnumz revealed that he could easily have Zari Hassan running back to him at the snap of his finger if he wanted.
The mother of five during her gig in Nairobi described her baby daddy as a man who is so full of himself and has an ego that he needs to feed all the time.
Zari revealed that she was unbothered by what Diamond had to say about her because she had moved on.
“Diamond is always going to say what he feels like saying because it feeds his ego. He has an ego and it always needs to be fed. It is not about what he is saying, the question is ‘Am I doing that?’ If he says he can get me back, can he really get Zari back? To me, it is just his ego and I’m okay with that,” she said.
As Zari Hassan is married to Shakib, she makes it clear that co-parenting with Diamond Platnumz is never problematic as they do not bother each other unless it is about their kids.
“It has been the easiest for me because if it is not about the kids, I do not have a reason to look for him and he doesn’t either. Only until it is something to do with the kids,” she said.

According to Zari, Shakib now fully understands who Diamond is and is unfazed by his statements. She revealed that they are friends and can all be in the same room without any awkward moments.
