Following singer Gravitty Omutujju filling Lugogo Cricket Oval for the fourth time, he declared himself one of Uganda’s biggest artists before urging Bobi Wine, Bebe Cool and Chameleone to go in retirement as the industry needs them no more.
His admission triggered an internet controversy, with many music industry figures weighing in, the most recent being Zex Bilangilangi.
During a media interview, Zex was tasked to remark on singer Gravitty’s decision of crowning himself one of the biggest artists and sending the big three into retirement.
Taddeo Mayega best known as Zax Bilangilangi stressed that Gravitty Omutujju is just a young boy who is misled by the hype.
He also warned the singer not to drag Uganda’s ‘Big Three’ through the mud, reasoning they laid the groundwork for fresh talents.
Upon Gravitty crossing paths with Zex Bilangilangi’s remarks in a video that was shared by Galaxy FM, he was so quick to retaliate, noting that the latter with his one and half hit song has no moral authority to address him in such a manner.
