Dancehall singer Ziza Bafana has once again hit hard at Bebe Cool calling him childish and immature for releasing his annual music lists, rating Ugandan artists.
At every start of the year, the Gagamel boss comes up with the list of top performing artists that he feels were the best in the past culminated year.
He at some point suggested turning them into awards and giving victorious musicians money as a form of appreciation for releasing the biggest songs in the year.
Ziza Bafana, while in an interview with the press, criticized Bebe Cool’s idea saying it had no positive impact on the music industry.
“His main worry and achievement are making lists. At his age, he is not supposed to do such. He is an artist and has no right to rate musicians because even the songs that he’s selecting for his lists are not that good,”
“How does the country benefit from that? For all the things you could do to help the country, you choose that? How do you even go ahead with such an idea after getting negative reviews from over fifty people?
“Everything has an age limit. If Bebe Cool does that, what will artists like Mudra do? You say you are the pioneers of music but for the fifty years you have spent doing music you are still doing that. Where will that take the industry,” Ziza Bafana.
Bebe Cool, on so many occasions, has been a source of ridicule and discussion by netizens because of the way he dresses on stage, calling his style childish. On the contrary, Ziza Bafana has nothing but respect for him for keeping up with the trends.

“His dressing is okay. I won’t even criticize him for that because that is fashion and he is one of the artists who I respect for keeping his looks. That is how an icon is supposed to look like. He is like fifty years old but you can’t believe that. He is older than Chameleone but he takes care of himself. He knows how to look and has swag,” Ziza Bafana concluded.
