Zuena Kirema has proposed new measures to address the high rate of Boda Boda-related crimes in Uganda.
In her recent communication, Zuena highlighted the overwhelming presence of Boda Bodas on the roads, surpassing the number of pedestrians.
She emphasized the rise in criminal activities associated with Boda Bodas and the frequent violations of traffic laws by riders. She called upon the authorities to take action to tackle this issue.
However, Zuena Kirema’s suggestions faced criticism from her followers, who expressed concerns about potential job losses among the youth if Boda Boda operations were restricted.
In response, Zuena acknowledged the positive impact of Boda Bodas on the community, facilitating transportation and employment opportunities.
She mentioned that she personally relies on them for delivering cakes to her clients and highlighted their contribution to the Ugandan economy.
While appreciating the benefits of Boda Bodas, Zuena emphasized the importance of addressing the challenges associated with them.

She encouraged her followers to offer constructive solutions instead of criticism. One of her proposed solutions included implementing time restrictions for Boda Boda operations to reduce late-night crimes.
