Renowned rapper Gravity Omutujju has bragged about being the first musician to hold his concert press conference at the central police station in Kampala.
Earlier today, Gravity Omutujju was scheduled to hold his ‘Embaga ya Isma N’amina’ concert press conference at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
Before joining members of the press at Lugogo Cricket Oval, Gravity mobilized his fans as he advertised his concert around the city which attracted a group of people who had unknown ambitions.
The group of people started snatching people’s phones and other valuables, which compelled the police to intervene, and Gravity Omutujju was ordered to reduce the number to only ten people or below.
Additionally, the rapper was ordered not to use the Kampala Road as he had not acquired authority to use the route, but he failed to adhere to the police orders.
Subsequently, he was arrested and other 8 people, and detained at the central police station in Kampala.
While addressing the press, the deputy Police spokesperson, SP Patrick Onyango revealed that no charges were filed against the rapper, but rather police were trying to restore peace and order in Kampala.
