Renowned events promoter Abitex Promotions has dragged singer Gloria Bugie to authorities in light of her leaked private videos.
Yesterday, social media was washed off its feet following Gloria Bugie’s explicit videos making rounds on several socializing platforms.
The videos, elicited divergent reactions among Ugandans, with Abitex Promotions being the most as he filed a case against the singer.
Based on the legal documents dated 17th September 2024, Abtex requested the Criminal Investigation Division to investigate the matter concerning computer misuse and anti-pornography.
According to Abitex, Gloria Bugie has been wearing extremely revealing outfits at events leaving no room for interpretation.
He asserts that this exposes her sexually to the audience to the point where she allows revelers particularly men to touch her inappropriately in public.
The promoter further explains that in Gloria Bugie’s most recent misconduct, she posted a video of herself while necked online going against section 2 of the Anti Pornography Act.
Furthermore, he pleaded for the authorities’ intervention, such that Gloria not only serves as an example to the public.

I write this letter with the purpose of bringing to your attention an increase in computer misuse and great abuse of technology as well as the internet in Uganda. Which has resulted in a violation of our nation’s laws and customs.
A young female musician going by the name “Gloria Bugie” is one example. This specific musician has purposefully performed for revelers on multiple occasions while wearing extremely revealing outfits that leave little room for interpretation. In the process, she exposes herself sexually to the audience to the point where she allows men in front of the stage to touch her in public. All of this takes place and is broadcast on a number of widely accessible online platforms for both young and old. She always does this during concerts, Particularly the concluded “Ndi Musoga” Concert on 31st August 2024 at Cricket Oval Lugogo where she exposed her nudity to the audience. Her most recent endeavor involves posting a video of herself dancing online in what appears to be necked in a bedroom exposing her private parts to the public. A video that has circulated the Internet, particularly Twitter. This goes against section 2 of the Anti Pornography Act.
I humbly ask that quick action be taken against this girl. She should serve as an example to the public to deter computer misuse and the abuse of the Internet as a whole. As well as sensitization by the responsible entities. Thank you.
