On 09th May 2022, Sheebah through her social media platforms revealed that she was molested by a reputable official during one of his shows.
Despite folks urging the singer to expose her molester, Sheebah remained tight-lipped, arising speculations that the singer’s outlaw was either Andrew Mwenda or Prof. Gilbert Bukenya.
This compelled celebrated Journalist Andrew Mwenda to confront Sheebah, urging her to throw more light on her sexual harassment, so as folks clear his name from the bad books of molestation.

Mwenda further urged the Director CID, to take interest in Sheebah’s case so that she can get justice.
On 17th May 2022, Uganda Police revealed that the Directorate of Criminal Investigations initiated investigations into Sheebah’s alleged sexual assault following her complaint at its headquarters today.
The Police Spokes Person Fred Enanga noted that during the CID officers’ interaction with Sheebah, she detailed her molester, and dismissed scuttlebutts that it was Andrew Mwenda.
Police stressed that they’ve initiated investigations on the concern and guaranteed justice for the singer.
Police thanked Sheebah for cooperating with them, to curb Gender-Based violence in the country.
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations has instituted inquiries into the alleged incident of indecent assault against, Sheeba Karungi, a popular music artist, after she formally made her complaint at CID headquarters today 17.05.2022.
During the interaction with the CID officers, Sheeba revealed the details and the individual who was involved and the related circumstances.
In her complaint she clearly mentions the suspect and refutes the ongoing speculation in sections of the media that it was Andrew Mwenda.
In view of the above, a team of Detectives has commenced investigations on the matter to ensure justice for the victim.
