Fast-rising singer Ava Peace has expressed her excitement about finally getting a chance to work alongside Winnie Nwagi on a song, fulfilling her dream.
Ava Peace has always expressed her love for Winnie Nwagi which she has exhibited through numerous Snapchat posts.
In many of her interviews, Ava Peace has expressed her desire to work with Winnie Nwagi citing how she inspired her music journey and how much a collaboration with her would propel her music career.
Her dream came true when she received a call from her manager, Jeff Kiiwa letting her know that she would be featuring on Swangz Avenue’s upcoming All-Star album.
In July, Swangz Avenue announced that it was taking a week-long creative retreat in Zanzibar to work on its all-star album, flying all its creatives to the coast to actualize the goals of recording new music sharing good moments.
Swangz Avenue also selected some of Uganda’s most talented artists outside the label to feature on the much-anticipated album and Ava Peace was among those that received the call.
Among the label stars Ava Peace has worked with are Winnie Nwagi, Vinka, and Elijah Kitaka.

I have always told people that I love Winnie Nwagi. Vinka is also a big star and I love her but for Winnie’s case, I grew up loving her, she said.
On Friday last week, the label dropped ‘God Ye Buddy’, the first single off the much-anticipated album that is set to officially be released later this month.
The album is expected to redefine the Ugandan music scene, showcasing a mix of genres, fresh collaborations, and a celebration of the best talent the region has to offer.
