Ava Peace warns Winnie Wa Mummy to stop using her name for fame and popularity, urging her to work harder on her music career.
The duo’s drama comes in light of Winnie Wa Mummy’s recent social media livestream, calling out Ava Peace for alleged disrespect following the clash at NTV Uganda.
Ava Peace rectified that Winnie Wa Mummy arrived late at the station, and while the latter held the microphone, the program’s director took it away from her and handed it to the former who immediately started to perform.
In an interview, Ava Peace revealed that the station reached out to her after Winnie’s outburst promising to sort out the mess. In their explanations, they had taken away the microphone from Winnie to rectify the sound but later handed it to Ava because she had come in first.
Winnie Wa Mummy acknowledged in a recent post-drama interview that she had understood what transpired, however, Ava Peace is unhappy that the clash stained her brand and reputation which she has toiled to build.
Ava Peace narrated how much she struggled to build her brand from way back in school while staying away from negativity and drama. She advised Winnie to exercise patience and grow her career using her talent instead of seeking attention using her name.

“Don’t build your name on tarnishing others because people have hustled. Don’t see me and think I just came out of the blue to become a star. Being where I am means I have been patient. You can’t expect to start in two months and think you will use my name for fame even after knowing the truth.
I think she should just work harder than tarnishing people’s names because that video got to very many people and as artists, we cannot explain to all our fans who may have had a different perception of us after that incident,” Ava Peace noted.
