Bebe Cool Makes Up His Mind, Endorses Cindy Sanyu for UMA Presidency

Gagamel chief Moses Ssali alias Bebe Cool has finally endorsed fellow singer Cindy Sanyu as the best candidate to lead the music industry.

A few weeks back, Bebe revealed that among the candidates vying for the UMA presidential seat, he saw no one suitable for the position.

He noted that for the 4 years Cindy has been in the office, she failed to unite artists, while King Saha’s public image makes him unbefitting for the top-notch office.

Bebe Cool hence nominated Maurice Kirya, who responded positively to the former’s request. The  self-styled King of Mwooyo however threw in the towel on grounds that he couldn’t catch up with the nomination process since he was out of the country.

Speaking to media outlets earlier today, Bebe Cool revealed that after a lengthy conversation with Cindy, she convinced him that she is the only befitting candidate.

The Wire Wire star noted that during Cindy’s reign as UMA president, artists have managed to establish a beneficial partnership with the Government.

Besides Cindy’s negative criticisms, Bebe stressed that she has managed to run the office for the last four years, which failed Ykee Benda and Sophie Gombya making her the best contender with enough knowledge about the industry.

He furthermore said the industry has no time to train people like King Saha, who has no qualifications or any idea of running such a big office.

He however maintained that he has no problem with those supporting King Saha, but they shouldn’t use emotions to decide but rather their brain and realities.
