Fast-rising singer Biswanka Derick has announced plans to hold his maiden concert that will make his official entry into the music scene.
While details concerning the date and the ticket prices are still scanty, the youngster has confirmed that the show will happen at one of the city’s biggest concert venues, Lugogo Cricket Oval and he is still debating whether the concert should be called ‘Rest Of My Life’ or ‘One Year Of Biswanka’.
Born in 2004, Biswanka Derick is rapidly rising through the charts all thanks to his immense influence on social media platforms, especially TikTok.
Initially signed under Alien Skin’s Fangone Forest, Biswanka bitterly traced the exit and he has since been funding his own career.
Biswanka Derick rose to fame following the release of his hit single ‘Ontunulemu’ and since then, he has continued to release bangers that have resonated well with his fan base and music lovers alike.
Biswanka revealed that the proceeds he will get from the concert will positively impact his life, financially support his mother back in the village, help him sort out financial problems, and also take care of people who are looking up to him.
I will use the money that comes out of the concert for my personal needs because I have a lot of them. When God gives you something, you have to look for ways to multiply what he has given you. I want to be able to change the situation in my life because all is not well. The money from the concert can help me a great deal and also help me take care of my mother in the village because they are all looking at me for survival, Biswanka Derick said.
He has called upon Ugandan artists and music lovers to come through in large numbers and support him as he marks the beginning of a very important chapter in his career.
