Fast rising musician Shakira Shakiraa is currently in celebratory mode after she was gifted a brand-new Mercedes Benz by a mysterious benefactor. The songstress who has been struggling with transportation issues due to her faulty Alphard car being in the garage, was completely caught off guard by the gesture.
The ‘Am in Love’ hitmaker was convinced by her manager to attend a supposed birthday party gig, only to be blindfolded and led outside to receive the surprise gift. When she opened her eyes, she was met with a stunning 2013 model Mercedes Bluetec Benz reg: UBR 072P wrapped in red ribbons and balloons. Overcome with emotion, she broke down in tears of joy before expressing her gratitude.
I’m surprised. I do not know if it is real or just content from the media. I do not know who gave it to me. There is someone I asked for a car but I do not think it is him. It is not my birthday and I’m not sure why but my car is currently in the garage. That is why this person got me a new car, Shakira Shakiraa revealed.
However, the drama unfolded when Shakira Shakiraa was asked to reveal the identity of the person who gave her the gift. Despite her suspicions, she was unable to confirm the benefactor’s identity, even after making a live call to the person she thought might be responsible.
It wasn’t until she spoke with the car dealer that she discovered the truth – a male ‘friend’ had arranged the surprise, following a conversation they had a week prior.
A gentleman who is also my regular customer called me at around midday and told me he has his girlfriend who needed a brand-new car for her day-to-day activities, I sent him many pictures and he chose the BlueTech. He paid cash, we are just waiting to do the transfer which will happen on Tuesday,” the car dealer revealed.
Shakira Shakiraa was overwhelmed with gratitude, thanking her mysterious man for the incredible gift. The identity of the benefactor remains unknown, but Shakira’s joy and appreciation are evident.
