Following an electrifying performance at the Noise Nation Festival, Jamaican dancehall artist Dexta Daps has elevated his experience in Uganda by recording two dynamic collaborations with local musicians.
During his visit, Dexta Daps worked at two of Uganda’s premier recording studios: Talent Africa’s TAG Studios and Swangz Avenue.
At TAG Studios, he partnered with Beenie Gunter to produce a remarkable track. Subsequently, he moved to Swangz Avenue, where he collaborated with Winnie Nwagi and Elijah Kitaka on another eagerly awaited song.
Dexta Daps conveyed his appreciation for the Ugandan music landscape, remarking, “This Uganda tour will always hold a special significance for me as it was my first experience in Africa.
The warmth, energy, and hospitality were unparalleled. I felt it was essential to collaborate with some Ugandan artists, and I was thrilled to meet such talented individuals from Uganda.”
