The Ekyooto Ha Mpango Festival, expertly orchestrated by Talent Africa Group and hosted at Buhinga Stadium, culminated in a magnificent celebration marking the 29th coronation anniversary of His Majesty King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru IV.
The festivities began on September 12th with a momentous coronation ceremony, paving the way for two days filled with dynamic cultural activities and competitions.
Ekyooto Ha Mpango Festival showcased a variety of thrilling events, including a fiercely contested golf and basketball tournament, both overseen by King Oyo himself.
Participants and attendees also had the opportunity to partake in royal excursions to the Kibaale Gorilla Trekking, emphasizing the natural beauty and biodiversity of the Tooro region.
The King, accompanied by a distinguished group of guests, engaged in a bird-watching experience alongside Princess Bagaya.
Guests were treated to a fashion gala featuring a stunning display of both traditional and modern designs, as well as a royal dinner hosted by Her Royal Majesty Queen Dr. Best Olimi Kemigisa Akiiki.
Musical performances were a standout feature of the Ekyoto Ha Mpango Festival, with celebrated artists such as Blu 3, Fik Fameica, and Beenie Gunter, alongside a selection of Tooro’s exceptional talents including Atwooki Richie, Muzanil Ayesiga, Tai-Tan, Irene Henda, Raya Rosette, Draei Bitsc, Hly Tremmie, and Sagio Mhza.
Ekyooto Ha Mpango Festival also included performances by renowned DJs Tony, DJ Bash, and DJ Hash.
