Media personality Faiza Fabz criticizes landlords, calling them out to improve the quality of houses put on the market.
Home or land ownership is like the typical Ugandan dream. This dream is starting to look increasingly distant for most of the young population because of the high cost of living, inflation, unemployment, high construction costs, etc.
The struggle for affordable housing mostly for the youth has been a topic of discussion on X(formerly Twitter) the last couple of days, generating reactions with many coming out to give their opinions on why most of the youth might never be homeowners.
Born Faiza Salima, Faiza Fabz took to her social media airing out a few of her thoughts. In her opinion, she claims if most of the youth are going to spend their entire lives paying rent it’s only right for them to get their money’s worth.
She tasked real estate developers or whoever is in the real estate business to improve the quality of these homes to facilitate their clients’ comfort.

Building affordable yet quality homes with modern kitchens that are well organized with enough storage space, and efficient plumbing for the bathrooms and toilets.
