Grenade Official shares his struggle with drugs and depression, links it to Jeff Kiwa’s influence

Singer Grenade Official has opened up about how Team No Sleep proprietor, Jeff Kiiwa drove him into depression, forcing him to start doing dangerous drugs because of stress.

Last year, Grenade Official announced that he was terminating any dealings with Jeff Kiiwa after the two bitterly fell out. The reason for their split remains unclear but it is believed that Jeff allegedly did business in Grenade’s name but failed to meet the obligations, hence the singer chocking on debts.

After going their separate ways, Grenade Official claims that Jeff continued to sabotage his career by speaking ill about him, tarnishing his reputation and almost killing his career.

The Nkuloga hitmaker revealed that the constant damage that Jeff did to his brand forced him to start abusing drugs as a coping mechanism.

Grenade describes Jeff as the worst person he has ever come across during his journey as a musician because of the immense pain he has allegedly put him through over the past months.

When it comes to that guy (Jeff), I speak up about everything he has done to me because he drove me into depression and I started using drugs. This was all because of the force he was using to fight me. The day I parted ways with him, I spoke up because he put me through a lot. Someone can speak so ill about you and you lose it. He was nice to me at first but he went on to be the worst I have ever met. He is like the worst curse I have ever encountered in my career,” Grenade Official said.

Jeff Kiiwa is considered to be one of the best talent managers there is. He has managed some of the top talents like Radio & Weasel, Pallaso, and Sheebah Karungi among others and while music fans hail him for his contribution to the industry, Grenade Official notes that the terrible things he did to him overtime since their separation clouded his good side.

He has a good side and I saw it throughout the time we were working together. But as soon as we split, he showed me his bad side. He fought me so much to a point you would think I killed his family member. I liked so much but he did so much and forced me to hate him that I do not even see his good side anymore. He tried so much to kill my career.
