Kabako, David Lutalo

Kabako asks David Lutalo to pulldown his concert as their respective show dates conflict

Dancehall singer Ssenabulya Yusuf aka Roden Y Kabako has made a challenging request to David Lutalo to consider pulling down his concert, citing it clashes with his. Both artists are gearing up to celebrate significant milestones – ten and fifteen years in the music industry respectively.

David Lutalo has been staging a concert every other year and he has over time proved that he has the ability to draw huge crowds so Kabako has asked for a one-time favor to have the day to himself. He rarely stages concerts but felt compelled to do so for his decade-long celebration.

In an interview, the ‘Sitaani Tonkema’ hitmaker asked Lutalo to respond positively to the plea, before vowing to go on bended knees and beg if necessary.

I’m asking him to give me this chance for this one day. If it means me getting down on my knees, I will crawl to his place and ask him to give this one day. For all the years he has been in the industry, he surely can’t lose anything if he lets me have this one, he said.

Kabako further expressed that if he had prior knowledge about the Lutalo concert on the same date, he would have withdrawn his announcement claiming he believes he still has more years ahead. However, he feels obligated to proceed because he has already informed his fans about the impending show.

Kabako
I’m so hurt. Truth be told If I hadn’t announced my concert, I would have withdrawn out of this race. This is because I still have so many chances, I’m still young, just celebrating ten years. He is celebrating 15 years and out of respect I would have left the date for him. I would have withdrawn out of this.
I want to tell David Lutalo that it’s just that I struggle a lot to get money but I would have left you to have the day because I hate painting a different picture of hate. The problem is I have already notified and advertised to like 80% of my audience so I can’t back out now. But I would have, he said.

Despite the conflict, Kabako has called upon his fans to come through in large numbers and support him, promising to deliver an exceptional performance.
