Dancehall singer Karole Kasita has watered down fans’ expectations of planning to make her relationship with her secret partner official.
Appearing on a television interview to premier her song “Fata,” Kasita revealed that she was not ready to walk down the aisle despite being official with the father of her son.
There have been reports making rounds on social media suggesting that the couple was secretly planning their traditional marriage off the public eye.
To everyone’s surprise, however, Karole Kasita has quashed the reports, noting that it is not something she is planning to do.
I had not yet planned any function because it is something I rarely think about. I would be lying to you if I said that I’m planning that. It is not what I’m looking for.
No one should lie to you that we are planning on legalizing the relationship soon. For the rumor, maybe it is his function with another lady but not me, Kasita Kasita noted.
Karole Kasita made it clear that despite not fulfilling the tradition of holding a cultural ceremony to formalize their union, her parents got their share and are satisfied with the couple informally staying together.
My parents already got what they were supposed to get so I do not want people to think that a function is the most important thing right now, she noted.

Karole’s revelation comes following giving birth over a year back to her son whom she christened King.
