Singer Chosen Becky real name Rebecca Kukiriza has revealed that the late Kato Lubwama had promised to make her one of the greatest actresses the country has ever had.
Kato Lubwama unexpectedly passed away on June 7, 2023, leaving behind a large number of unfinished tasks, including fulfilling Chosen Becky’s acting goal.
During Kato’s vigil at his home in Mutundwe recently, Chosen was in total attendance and got time to address the press.
Becky shared her sorrow on the passing of an iconic figure in the media, politics, and entertainment.
She revealed that prior to his death, Kato Lubwama had tasked her to act in one of the plays he was working on.
Becky continued, saying that Kato Lubwama had vowed to turn her into Uganda’s Angelina Jolie, but their dream was dealt a heavy blow when he died.

Kato Lubwama was laid to rest yesterday at his ancestral home in Nkozi, Mawokota Mpigi district, after a week of mourning.
