Pallaso Plans to Perform Abroad Amid a Uganda 6 Months Ban

Singer Pallaso has shown a nonchalant attitude towards the decision undertaken by the Uganda Promoters under their promoter federation who recently announced that he together with Aline Skin had been banned for six months.

In an interview, Pallaso expressed his disappointment with the promoters who came to the conclusion instead of trying to find a solution for the problem on the ground.

Speaking on not being able to perform in Uganda, Pallaso revealed that he would extend his talent across the globe since his music is international and he has stepped on international stages on several occasions.

“I thank them for saying that but I don’t remember them instructing me to start my music career in the beginning. I did it on my own. I love promoters and they are my friends but they are just disrespectful.

My music has traversed nations; there are countries that I go to and they welcome me like a king. I had a performance in Seychelles but they are not the ones that booked me to perform there which means I can perform outside this country.

I do not want them to think that I’m stuck here. My dream has always been to export my music outside Uganda,” he said.

During a press conference led by promoter and Minister Balaam last week, the promoters came to the unanimous decision because of the violent acts displayed by the two artists which they said was damaging their reputation.

They agreed that the ban would stand for six months to allow police to investigate the scandals linked to their brands.

If found guilty of the charged offenses, the ban would extend for a considerable period of time, and any promoter that defies the order would face consequences.
