City pastor Bugingo has called out Miracle Centre Cathedral lead pastors Robert and Jessica Kayanja for allegedly conniving with his estranged ex-wife Teddy Naluswa to prevent his children from interacting with him.
During one of his sermons, the House Of Prayer pastor accused the Kayanjas of assigning themselves the role of parenthood in his children’s lives without consulting him first.
He claims the couple has brainwashed his children and done a great deal of creating a rift between him and his children.
Pr. Robert and Jessica Kayanja up to now are still sneaking around with Teddy (ex-wife) trying to hide my children. They started a church for them, got them lawyers but Kayanja has never called me, written to me or even sent someone to me to tell me anything. All this with an aim for us to continue being at loggerheads. No one can ever take away a parent’s blessing. One person took my kids and turned them into his, pretending that he cares too much about them. I’m just waiting to see if he will get them another father, Pastor Bugingo revealed.
The ex-couple tied the knot in December 2003 and sired four children including Gift Bugingo, Winnie Treasure Bugingo, Jenniffer Blessed, and Isaac Bugingo.
In 2019, Pastor Bugingo filed for divorce after 29 years of marriage citing the love they once shared had been swept away and they could not live together anymore.
Following the divorce news, Pr. Jessica Kayanja announced that she was launching a prayer session encouraging Teddy to follow the footsteps of the Biblical Esther who stayed in the palace of the king despite having many enemies.
Since then, the broken family has not been on good terms with Teddy and her children accusing the pastor of abandoning them and failing to take care of their needs and fulfilling his fatherhood roles.
Teddy and her children continue to fellowship at Miracle Centre Cathedral and Pastor Bugingo insinuates that his rival pastor is taking over his family and using them to fulfill their concealed motives. He believes that he will quickly discard them after his fight is over.

I remain strong because I accepted Jesus fully knowing tribulations will come my way. I have experienced it all and I thank God that I’m alive. I will not die even when I die, the one who is trying to take over my family would not be able to give out my children to someone else. It is very stupid.
That is all the devil, he will pretend to care but just know anyone who doesn’t love your father, doesn’t love you. They just want you to help them kill off your father who they failed to finish off, so that they completely destroy you afterwards,” Pastor Bugingo claimed.
Pastor Bugingo now stays with his new woman, also a member of his church, Susan Makula. In 2021, the lovebirds held their private introduction ceremony at Makula’s home in Entebbe, Kawuku.
