Big Eye is one of the artists who have faced the wrath of angry revealers upon siding with the ruling party (NRM).
On different occasions, Ibrahim Mayanja aka Big Eye was pelted with bottles and forced off the stage by a furious mob who claimed the singer and other few artists didn’t side with the oppressed minorities.
Upon the government lifting a ban on concerts last month, most of the artists are eying suitable venues to stage their concerts after almost three years of lockdown.
In Big Eye’s case, he is in fear of the angry mob who have threatened to make it impossible for him to perform at any concert following his political decision.

Such an environment surrounding Big Eye has made it next to impossible for promoters to book the singer, in fear of the violence exhibited in the past years.
Talking to a local TV station, Big Eye revealed that he is ready to perform for his fans. He added that music is his only source of income pleading to Ugandans threatening him to stop because politics ended way back.
He advised promoters to reinforce security at the concerts to curb the vice of pelting bottles at artists.
When asked whether he is ready to apologize to those he offended politically, he said he is not ready to apologize to anyone because he has a right to support any political party.
