Ugandan stylist Real Hommie Quan renowned for his distressed attires has recounted selling his sewing machine to attend the annual Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards (ASFAs).
Real Hommie Quan gained notoriety among social media users and celebrities alike thanks to his exceptional craft in the fashion styling industry.
While appearing in an interview with NRG Radio, Real Hommie Quan revealed that Abryanz inspired him to venture into fashion styling.
He stressed that he put forth maximum effort to attend Abryanz’s annual ASFAS awards, which saw him sell his sewing machine to raise the entry fee of Ugx 200K.
He added that he utilized the discounted early bird tickets, acquiring two passes since he required a colleague with a good phone to capture every single moment he experienced at the event.
His decision to sell a sewing machine didn’t settle well with his father and his dissatisfaction still lives rent-free to the present day.
