Singer Ronald Alimpa of Sean Don fame has earlier today been arrested over the shows he failed to perform in Rakai, leading revelers to destroy property.
Earlier last year, Ronald Alimpa was booked to perform at two shows in Rakai during the Christmas festivities.
However, Alimpa didn’t make it to the event venues on time, hence revelers setting some properties like a generator and speakers ablaze.
The musician was detained but eventually released on bail with the requirement that he pay Ugx 120 million in compensation for the destroyed property.
However, ever since, Alimpa has been playing hide and seek, making efforts for the promoter to get justice futile.
This saw the complainant storm Alimpa’s residence, where he was arrested and taken to Rakai where his case file is.
